RIP
Beverly Gummer

I had some very sad news yesterday afternoon from Joy Gummer, the daughter of a distant cousin. Her mother, Beverly Gummer of Butte, Montana, USA passed away on 29 April. I 'met' Beverly on line via UK relatives. Bev and I exchanged family histories, photos and many jokes over the last five years. I will miss her.

Bev's husband Sievert and my father were of the same generation and related to Gyles Gummer born c. 1642. Amazingly, the resemblance between Sievert and my father, Jack was very strong.
